Welcome to EkifAbeba! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EkifAbeba mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using EkifAbeba, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use EkifAbeba
- By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this eligibility requirement
2. Account Registration
- To use EkifAbeba, you must create an account using your email and password, Google account, or Apple account
- You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information when registering and maintaining your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account
- You agree not to create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity
3. Use of the Service
EkifAbeba is designed for personal, non-commercial use only
You may not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or misleading purpose
You may not:
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Post or share content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access the Service.
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our permission.
4. Location Services
When creating an account, you are asked to select your city and country using Google Places Autocomplete. We use this information to help you discover and connect with people based on location. Your selected city and country may be displayed on your profile or used for matching and discovery, depending on the app's features.
5. Premium Features & Payments
EkifAbeba is free to download and use, but certain features (such as unlimited messaging or advanced filters) may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase
Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing systems
All payments are non-refundable, except where required by law
6. Content You Share
You are responsible for the content (photos, messages, profile information, etc.) you upload or share through EkifAbeba
By sharing content, you grant EkifAbeba a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app for the purpose of operating the Service
We reserve the right to remove or restrict any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines
7. Safety & User Conduct
We prioritize creating a safe environment, but we cannot guarantee the behavior of other users. Please use caution when interacting with others
Users are encouraged to report suspicious or inappropriate activity
EkifAbeba is not responsible for any harm, disputes, or relationships formed through the app
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app under Profile -> Account and security -> Delete account
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in harmful conduct
9. Privacy
Your use of EkifAbeba is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review it carefully.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EkifAbeba and its affiliates are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from:
- Use of or inability to use the Service
- Interactions or disputes with other users
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” above or sending an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Silver Spring, MD, USA. Any disputes arising from your use of EkifAbeba will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Silver Spring, MD, USA.
